DESCRIPTION: This program is classroom training at two locations around Puget Sound. This training is located in Lynnwood and SeaTac. The  program is covered over a (26 or 52) week period, of rigorous classroom and field training. If the student pursues the marketing, and proactive field training portion together they can begin independent inspecting sometime after (26) weeks. The less experienced student may take longer. This program also prepares the student for employment with various entities such as builders, insurance and underwriting companies, fire and casualty companies, and various other groups in need of well organized individuals with proven communication skills written and verbally, and capable of preparing reports in narrative and opinion style of writing. This of course depends on the dedication and commitment of the student. The  classes meet continuously and can be attended any time. Call or email for current status.  The outside field work is individually mentored and reviewed by the instructor. The assignments are progressive from simple inspecting and field reporting to the more complex and efficient inspection with narrative reporting. We teach organization, inspecting, inspection process, communication and business. Our marketing campaign is integrated into the training and works well. You can be in business before leaving the program, or preparing for employment with our job placement assistance.

The classes cover our entire NARIES, "Standards of Practice", which are viewable at our web site www.naries.org. This program builds not only a Home Inspector, but confidence and self reliance. The basic course trains the Home Inspector to inspect and write a  written report where all of the information is classified and organized consistently throughout the document. This program is offered with an extended series for form style narrative report  writing. This trains the inspector to write serious business opinions for the public, companies and  the courts as an expert. Often the client may want a  narrative report. This is what we teach.
